Strategy

The SDCC strategy 2020 reflects how far SDCC has come in the major transformation process from being a privately-owned diabetes hospital to being part of the public health system in the Capital Region of Denmark. SDCC is now witnessing an impressive development in every area and in all partsof the organisation.

With the many and diversified initiatives, as well as several new employees, it has been essential for the senior management team of SDCC to create a shared understanding of the overall objectives, involve all employees and to make it clear what SDCC’s future direction will be and how each individual initiative can contribute to the overall objective.

Four strategic focus areas have been identified: 

  • Research and Development
  • Collaboration 
  • Competence Development
  • The New SDCC

These areas have already been converted  into specific projects and actions for 2020.
