A new Danish Diabetes Register

​By linkage of several Danish disease registers, Clinical Epidemiology has established a new National Diabetes Register covering all persons diagnosed with diabetes in Denmark.

We use the register to estimate time trends in diabetes in Denmark, to predict future diabetes in Denmark, to monitor the prognosis for people with diabetes in Denmark and to study effects of new glucose lowering drugs in the general diabetes population.
