Current research
The effect of GIP and GLP-1 in combination with sulphonylurea on insulin and glucagon secretion in patients with Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 1 alpha diabetes (HNF1A-diabetes/MODY3)
Aim: To investigate if there is an additive effect of combining GIP, GLP-1 and sulphonylurea on insulin and glucagon secretion in patients with HNF1A-diabetes.

GLIMLINA-trial: A randomised, double-blinded crossover trial investigating glimepiride + linagliptin vs. glimepiride monotherapy in patients with HNF1A- diabetes
Aim: To show that glimepiride + linagliptin provides good glycaemic control with low risk of hypoglycaemia
