My research aim is to discover a panel of small molecules associated with metabolic disorders using metabolomics/lipidomics approach. This is achieved through:
1. Mass Spectrometry: To develop LC-MS methods for metabolomics
2. Bioinformatics: To develop and conduct computational and statistical analyses on metabolomics datasets, in particular MS datasets analysed, using both univariate and multivariate data analyses techniques.
Aim: Application of comprehensive lipidomics to reveal lipids linked to risks associated with childhood obesity

2. The Cognitive Ageing Nutrition and Neurogenesis (CANN) Trial (CANN)
Aim: Investigate the potential effect of -3 fatty acids and flavonoids on cognition in older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or subjective memory impairment (SMI)
