Vision
The vision is to develop a world - class diabetes laboratory focusing on both clinical operations and clinical research for the benefit of citizens at or at risk of developing diabetes.
Strategic focus
With the citizen with diabetes at the center, CoreLab supports organizational clinic and research and contributes to SDCC being an international leader in both areas.
CoreLab has the following five strategic goals:
- Establish a Proof-of-Concept laboratory in close collaboration with the clinic
- Apply the latest healthcare technology to ensure optimal, fast and efficient operation
- Further develop the use of citizen-centered health technology and ensure quality assurance of citizens' equipment
- Initiate competence development of all employees and create new career paths
