Current research

1. Risk of cardiovascular disease among diabetic Inuit in Greenland

Aim: To elucidate the risk of cardiovascular disease among Inuit in Greenland with diabetes and examine if homozygous and heterozygous carriers of the TBC1D4 variant p.Arg684Ter confer the same risk of cardiovascular disease as wildtype.


2. Risk of kidney complications among diabetic Inuit in Greenland

Aim: To elucidate the risk of kidney complications among Inuit in Greenland with diabetes and examine if homozygous and heterozygous carriers of the TBC1D4 variant p.Arg684Ter confer the same risk of kidney complications as wildtype.
