Research area

Diabetic neuropathy in Greenlandic Inuit: Prevalence of diabetic neuropathy in Greenlandic Inuit with diabetes and pre-diabetes and investigation of risk factors inclusive genetic risk profiles and traditional Greenlandic diet. 

Current research

  • Normative reference data on cardiovascular autonomic function.
    Aim: To decide the limits for normal and abnormal cardiovascular autonomic function in healthy subjects.

  • Prevalence of diabetic neuropathy in Greenlandic Inuit.
    Aim: To investigate the prevalence of peripheral and cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy in Greenlandic Inuit with diabetes and pre-diabetes.
