  • Evaluating the impact of automated insulin pumps (AID) including vulnerable groups
  • Assessing additional benefits of AID beyond the glycemic control (sleep, inflammation, cognition).

Current research

AID Beyon​​d

The study evaluates the effects of AID systems on sleep efficiency and quality, cognitive function, mental health and CV risk factors in children and adults with T1D.​

SSS- ​​RCT

A randomized controlled trial testing the influence of three- and seven-days insulin infusion sets and two types of insulin on hyperechogenicity in subcutis and glycaemic variables in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes. 

StenoChild

Studying effects of peer-to-peer and healthcare professional group with a focus on play, eating behavior, activity, calmness/mindfulness vs. stress in the management and empowerment of T1D for children and their parents

T2D CGM (forsøgsordn​ingen)

Aim: To investigate the effectivity of the use of CGM on glucometrics and patient reported outcomes for adults with type 2 diabetes treated with insulin​
