​Rasmus is a Ph.D. student committed to advancing clinical research in diabetes and neuropathy. Currently, his primary focus is testing a new potential treatment for painful diabetic neuropathy. This work is part of his broader interest in understanding the complexities of diabetic neuropathy as a whole, including its various forms and risk markers. Rasmus' long-term goal is to improve patient outcomes and quality of life through the development of more effective interventions for neuropathic complications in diabetes.
