Diabetes self-management education and support:
- Development and evaluation of innovative research-based approaches, methods and tools for self-management education and support targeting people with or at risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
- Using co-creation/design-based research methods in collaboration with people with diabetes and health care professionals.
- Projects targeting socially disadvantaged groups, people with ethnic minority background, people with mental illnesses and/or people with complications of diabetes, in working for equity in health.
