• Cardiometabolic conditions in pregnancy, particularly gestational diabetes and preeclampsia, and the links between Maternal & Child Health and cardiometabolic disease.
• Health promotion and follow-up of women with a history of gestational diabetes or preeclampsia to prevent future diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
• The role of the family and partner in health promotion.
• Psychosocial aspects related to reproductive health among persons with cardiometabolic conditions.
• Cardiometabolic conditions in pregnancy in a global perspective, including social determinants, migration, and health care systems in low- and middle-income countries.
• In my work, I employ a range of different research methods, such as complex interventions, epidemiology, and qualitative research.​
