- Target trial emulation: Designing real-world studies to mirror randomized trials.
- Causal inference: Using modern statistical tools to uncover reliable treatment effects.
- Real-World Evidence in Diabetes: Linking research findings to everyday clinical care.
Current Research
As a postdoctoral researcher on the REDDIE (Real-World Evidence for Decisions in Diabetes) project, I study how results from randomized controlled trials compare with findings from real-world data on glucose-lowering therapies. By using a target trial emulation framework together with methods from causal inference, we can analyze time-varying patient information and answer clinically relevant questions that matter for diabetes care.
