Current research
My current PhD project focuses on the long-term consequences of heavy prenatal alcohol exposure, with emphasis on the dual burden of adverse health and social outcomes. I investigate patterns of healthcare utilisation, adverse childhood experiences across childhood and adolescence, mortality, and social marginalisation in young adulthood.
