Trial Emulations within Cardiovascular Diabetology.​
I focus on applying causal inference methods to evaluate long-term effects of diabetes and cardiovascular treatments in real-world settings. Additionally, I apply these methods to phase III clinical trials to better understand treatment efficacy under ideal conditions.

Aktuel forskning​​

Currently, I investigate the effects of different diabetes treatments in the Danish population using emulated trials. By accounting for treatment changes and comorbidities over time, these studies provide robust insight into the real-world efficacy of modern diabetes therapies. This work is part of a larger EU collaborative project comparing results across several countries to improve evidence-based treatment decisions and ultimately patient care
