​The Steno user group offers a platform for those connected to diabetes care at Steno to influence treatment development, information materials, and research priorities. Comprising 15 diverse members, the group meets five times annually in Herlev. 

Discussions focus on both staff-led and participant-driven topics. Past input has helped shape services, including consultation formats, patient information, and communication strategies. A youth panel is available for those aged 14–24.
